I am a journeyman lineman. I have an associate degree and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. I live in Arizona with my wife and our two children.

In February 2017 I found out that the woman who raised me was my grandmother, that she had put her own name on my birth certificate, and that nobody had ever filed an adoption. My mother had died four years earlier, thirty minutes away.

I am not a writer. I wrote this because the people who knew were dying, and because everything that was ever written down about me was wrong.
